The sister weapon of Skoll.

Just as Celestia defeated Skoll and infused his essence into that of a weapon, Luna did with Hati, brother of Skoll, hunter and devourer of the moon.

Just as the hammer can be called down from the sun, the Moonlance can be summoned from its place on the moon. It answers only to Luna.

This image took much longer than what I had first intended. All in all I think it came out quite nicely, hope to get better at this sort of technique though.

My hand aches ;-;

Also: Two handed weapon? Two handed weapon.

I'm not so sure. I think repeating the same story with a different name would defeat the purpose. I think that I might incorporate these weapons into a fic that im still being lazy about though..

Well it didn't have to be the same story. Luna could have tricked Hati, or maybe NMM struck a deal with Hati to counter Celestia's Skol. I don't know just throwing ideas out there

Mighty well done. Now, do one with both of them when they fight Discord. Just kidding.
It's a nice Glaive design. I guess the spirit of Hati gave Luna some bigger canines to. I also liked the rune mark and the moon thingy. Really cool.

No idea about the canines, to be honest. :iconbri-sta: lead me on to the fangs thing, they really do look brilliant in my opinion.

Very good piece. This pic is so detailed it's mind-boggling. And the pose is nice too, very fierce. My only question would be why such a square shape on the blade? It just seems a little clunky.
